Nuneaton Junior League - Round 3

Held at Leamington on 28th June 2008

Wyre Forest competed in the 3rd and final round of this league at Leamington against extremely tough opposition. Unfortunately due to a number of hiccups the team did not perform to its best ability and came 5th with 119 points. Early indications are that this was just enough to keep us in the 1st Division. After winning the 2nd Division last year we have now consolidated our position in the 1st Division.

Bolmere A came 1st with 274 points, Northampton came 2nd with 243 points, Leamington were 3rd with 171 points, Solihull were 4th with 139 points and Ludlow were 6th with 104 points.

Unfortunately, there were a few of our usual team members missing and we had to swim an overage swimmer (OAS) in both the 9 year old boys relays. There were 24 personal best times achieved during this event.

Well done to Jessica Lewis for getting us 1st place in the girls 10/u 2 lths backstroke despite carrying an injury.
