The Worcester County Championships started with the 800m Freestyle event on Sunday 7th February 2010 at Hereford. It was a fantastic day for Wyre Forest with some amazing results.

Congratulations to all the swimmers who took part. There were many personal best times achieved.

Well done to Sophie Hall who swam an amazing time of 9.54 minutes gaining the gold medal in the 11 year girls category. Beth Hinton came 5th with a personal best time of a minute faster than her entry time.

Jack Rowley came 8th and Tom Middleton came 9th in the Boys 12 year category.

Sam Rose came 2nd in the 13 year boys category and Hayden Griffiths came 5th.

Megan Tinsdale came 2nd in the 13 year girls category and Erica Harris came 8th.

Sophie Haycock-Jones came 7th in the 15/16 year girls category and Faith Ross came 9th.

Scott Allin gained the Boys Junior Champion title, had the 2nd fastest time overall and took gold in the boys 15/16 years category.

Josh Bradley came 3rd in the boys 15/16 years category and Adam Marsh came 5th.

Luke Ladbroke finished 3rd in the 17 years+ category and Dan Eddies came 6th.
