Last night Redditch hosted a friendly Gala for 9 to 12yr olds from local teams. Full results are on the Forum - please sign up if you haven't already (parents and swimmers only).

The Ross PGL League speeding limits were used in this gala and the following swimmers were caught speeding: Ben Hall 9yr 1 lth breast, Alice Fish 12/u 50m Back, Sophie Jancey 12/u 50m Fly, Kyra Robbins 11/u 50m Back, Tom Willcox 12/u 50m Free, Nathan Hawkins 10/u 50m Back, Adam Hall 9yr 1 lth Free and Amy Osborne 9yr 1 lth Free.

Junior Coach, Lorna Griffiths and Team Manager, Bob Walters, took this opportunity to give many swimmers their first taste of a competitive gala.

Very well done to the following swimmers who made their debut: Amy Aston, Madeleine Bowen, Amy Osborne, Eleanor Blakeway, Alice Caldwell, Ella Tristram, Georgia Webster-Ford, Daniella De Carteret, Tom Bull, Alex Challen, Henry Williams and William Richardson.

Wyre Forest came 3rd with 171 points, hosts, Redditch came first with 191 points, Haden Hill 2nd with 187 points, Bromsgrove 4th with 170 points and Worcester were 5th with 147 points.

1st Places: Kieran Hawkins 10yrs & under 50m Breast, 9yr Boys Medley Relay team of Tom Bull, Adam Hall, Allaster Renton and Ben Hall, 9ys Girls Freestyle Relay Team of Madeleine Bowen, Amy Aston, Amy Osborne and Hetty Tinsdale, Jack Rowley 12yrs and under 50m Breast, Kiah Bradley 11/u 50m Fly, Abbie Rowley 9yr 1 lth Fly, Boys 12/u Freestyle Relay Team of Jack Rowley, William Richardson, Alex Brady and Tom Willcox, George Carroll 11/u 50m Breast, Georgia Lloyd 11/u 50m Breast and Tom Bull 9yr 1 lth Back.
