Redditch Diddy B Gala

Droitwich swimming club was the venue for the Redditch Diddy B Gala on Saturday 4th February where Wyre Forest gained another 45 personal best performances and came through in second place.

All Wyre Forest swimmers were aged 12 and under and the team included six swimmers who have not competed in Galas before. 

Of these newcomers, Oche Igoche, who only joined the club in November 2005, made a tremendous start in his debut gala and notched up 3 first places – 2 on individual performances and 1 team event and 4 second places all in team races.  Out of these, he gained 4 new personal best times.

He wasn't the only success story and in the girls under 11 and 10 medley relays all the team members achieved personal best times.
