Bromsgrove Trophy Gala

Well done to everyone who took part in this trophy gala. Wyre Forest were just pipped to the post, by hosts Bromsgrove, and came 2nd with 237. Bromsgrove gained just 4 more points winning with 241 points, Droitwich was 3rd with 231 points and Northgate was 4th with 211 points. WFSC once again dominated the team events. Congratulations to newcomer Erica Harris (10) for her outstanding performance in her first gala.

1st places in individual events: Lucy breakwell 2 lgths fly with a PB of 49.90, Oche Igoche 12/u 2 lgths freestyle , Emily Goodman 12/u 2 lgths freestyle, Verity Thorley 16/u 2 lths backstroke with a PB of 35.52, Jack Barnett 14/u 2 lths freestyle and 2 lths breastroke and Jessica Lewis 10/u 2 lths backstroke with a PB of 41.83.

1st places in team events: 10/u mixed freestyle relay of Jemma Postings, Erica Harris (16.24), Tom Middleton (16.77) and Phillip Hall (17.69); 12/u mixed freestyle relay of Emily Goodman, Luke Barnett, Alex Styles (16.31) and Nick Thorley; 10 x 1 lth girls cannon of Erica Harris, Jessica Lewis (16.37), Emily Goodman,Hannah McCreedy (16.12), Beth Lewis, Alex Styles, Verity Thorley (14.81), Emily Lane, Lizzie Hall (14.00) and Clair Wall; 10/u mixed 4 x 1lth medley relay of Jessica Lewis (18.63), Hayden Griffiths, Jack Rowley and Erica Harris (16.11) and  Boys 10 x 1 lth cannon of Phillip Hall, Hayden Griffiths, Oche Igoche, Luke Barnett (16.03), Alex Thorley, Jack Barnett, Richard Harrison (13.78), Dan Eddies, Steve Eddies and Phill Harrison (12.27).
